1 - Your sleeping patterns are irregular

This one is easy to solve. Just keep a dream diary. By doing this you are making sure that you remember any lucid dreams you might have.3 - You don't have enough confidence
It's important to have belief that you can achieve lucidity, since by not being confident you are just placing another barrier in your way. Before you go to sleep try repeating "I will become lucid tonight" to yourself a few times. Believe in yourself. It works.4 - Dream induced opportunities are passing you by
Make sure you get into a habit of performing regular reality checks throughout the day. You will likely become lucid in normal dreams. This is a good strategy if you feel to be getting nowhere with wake initiated lucids.5 - You're trying too hard
Take a break. By not pushing yourself for a week you might get somewhere. It is possible to put too much thought into it. A simple positive attitude and good sleeping habits could be all you need.So there you go. Try everything above and you will give youself the maximum chance of achieving regular lucid dreams.
